Regulatory Framework

Statutory Terms of Practice

Our professional engagement coordinates, legal boundaries, and mutual compliance duties governing accounting and assurance operations.

1. Professional Scope & CPA Calculations

AATS provides independent certified public accounting, assurance audits, tax planning, and strategic corporate structure consulting. All calculations, ledger balancing procedures, and tax reporting schedules are compiled in accordance with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as applicable. Our advice and compilations are based on representations made by your management team.

2. Client Records Obligations & Timings

The accuracy and timeliness of our services depend directly on the delivery of complete and unredacted financial record files, receipts, bank statements, and corporate ledgers by the client. Client agrees to submit all requested books and documents within defined compliance timelines (typically 14 business days from request). AATS is not liable for delayed filings, state penalties, or interest charges resulting from client-side record delays or missing document details.

3. Legal Responsibility Boundaries & IRS Representation

AATS performs independent validation of corporate transactions. Management retains ultimate responsibility for the establishment and maintenance of internal accounting controls, correct categorization of operational expenses, and the accuracy of all tax returns. Unless specifically contracted under a power-of-attorney agreement, AATS does not act as executive legal counsel before federal IRS agencies or state tax audit commissions.

4. Service Conditions, Fees & Cancellation

Engagement terms are governed by the active Statement of Work (SOW). Either party may terminate the advisory relationship upon 30 days written notice. Upon termination, client is responsible for settling all outstanding balances for work performed up to the termination date. All client records and original paper documents will be returned upon final payment processing; AATS reserves the right to retain copies of working papers as required by professional standards and regulations.
